Empower Berlin
Building a bold visual identity for a changing tech brand.
I provided a cohesive brand identity that positions N-able as a trusted leader in cybersecurity.
Opportunity
N-able was in the midst of a major rebrand, transitioning an IT management company to a newly focused cybersecurity company. This change required establishing a fresh and compelling look and feel that would make a splash for new and existing partners in the cybersecurity space.
Solution
The brand highlights the architecture of Berlin, bringing both the historical as well as modern themes of the event location to the forefront. The theme draws inspiration from Bauhaus and Brutalism art styles, while ensuring the identity stands apart from previous Empowers.
Impact
Nearly 500 partners registered for the event, a 300% increase from previous years. Partners were actively engaged in presentations. The brand amplified the company direction and aligned with partner expectations. Social media amplification resonated well with partners.
“(Brittney) served as the lead designer for our large annual user conference. These were major, high-visibility projects with a lot of moving parts and big expectations. She created full branding systems for these events — everything from signage and digital experiences to presentations and swag — and tied them all together into cohesive, memorable visual identities that made a real impact. The feedback from both internal stakeholders and event attendees was consistently outstanding.”
