Owning the cloud through immersive event branding

I crafted a distinct visual identity that created a memorable experience for guests across digital and physical touchpoints.

Opportunity

The 2024 theme, “Own the Cloud,” spotlighted the increasing influence of cloud technology and positioned N-able partners as leaders in leveraging the platform’s capabilities.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Prague, the design system needed to feel bold, electric, and globally resonant—while still aligning with N-able’s brand evolution.

Solution

I drew from Prague’s modern sculptures and historic signage, incorporating structural and typographic motifs to ground the visuals in a sense of place.

Rather than depicting literal clouds, I created patterns inspired by cloud-related forces like rain, wind, and movement—abstractly representing the unseen energy that powers digital transformation.

I retained visual elements from past events (stripes, lightning bolts) to ensure brand consistency while evolving the aesthetic with deeper textures and layered visuals.

Bold, condensed typography and high-contrast compositions were used to direct attention and create drama—giving the event materials a sense of urgency and innovation.
